Montgomery Village President Matt Brolley Appointed to CMAP Board

The Chairmen of the Kane and Kendall County Boards and the Mayors of Kane and Kendall Counties have cooperatively appointed Montgomery Village President Matthew Brolley as the Kane and Kendall Counties representative to the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (CMAP) Board.  This appointment will run through July 1, 2019.

CMAP is the official regional planning organization for northeastern Illinois, comprised of seven counties (Cook, DuPage, Kane, Kendall, Lake, McHenry, and Will) that encompass 284 municipalities of metropolitan Chicago.  Its long-range planning includes population modeling, economics and business environment, housing issues, land use and zoning, sustainability, water resources, transportation improvements, congestion mitigation and an air quality improvement program.

President Brolley expressed his appreciation for the appointment, saying, “I am honored to be appointed to represent both Kane and Kendall Counties in CMAP’s regional planning efforts. My professional background in engineering makes me exceptionally cognizant of planning and environmental issues and the necessity of a regional approach to problem solving.  I look forward to serving on the CMAP Board as we address issues of importance to the entire area.”
