The trailers located at the end of Manning Ave., by the townhomes,
have been removed by the owners at the request of the Village.
June 2010
As of June 2010, the Village has been contacted by a builder of homes that intends to purchase some lots (but not all the property) in the development. Please note: this is not a new "developer." The Village believes that this builder may be beneficial to the residents of the subdivision in that, hopefully, they will complete the townhomes and build new homes (leading to a finished subdivision). However we want to be clear that the Village is continuing to pursue the original developers bond company (that guaranteed completion of public improvements) to finish out the roadways, etc. We do expect that there will be coordination with this new builder on certain items (example there will need to be cooperation/coordination on grading in the park site with dirt from the dirt hill on the builder's lots).
6/25/10
As discussed last fall at the resident information meeting about Fieldstone Place, the Village would like to give you an update on some maintenance issues in the subdivision. First, the Village has contracted with a company to mow the stormwater detention basin located at the southeast corner of Briarcliff Road and Montgomery Road as well as the open space at the southwest corner of Briarcliff Rd and Manning Avenue. The property on Briarcliff/Manning was cut last week and the basin at Montgomery/Briarcliff should be cut in the next few days, weather permitting.
We have also learned that the bank that holds the mortgage on the residential lots has approved a contract for the mowing of those lots. Depending on the weather, those lots should be cut within a week. If the bank fails to cut them, the Village will hire a firm to do it for us and then place a lien on the properties.
