Watch
Are
you and your neighborhood members of a Neighborhood Watch? If
not, WHY NOT? Neighborhood Watch is a worthwhile program that
allows you, the residents, to help the police make your neighborhood
safe by being an extra set of eyes and ears for the police and
your neighbors. Being a member of a Neighborhood Watch group
is a risk-free crime prevention tool. Members are not asked
to put themselves in danger or to apprehend criminals, just
"be on the look out."
All
police calls for service that occur in a Neighborhood Watch
area are listed on the Police Department's Neighborhood
Watch web page. If your neighborhood is a participating
member, you can check and determine what is happening where
you live.
If
your neighborhood is not involved in a Neighborhood Watch, please
help us organize one by contacting the Police Department at
