Citizen Academy
Congratulations
to the southern Kane County TRIAD for their first successful
Senior Citizen Academy, that was held at Anderson Farms in 2001.
Area Police Officers, including Montgomery Officers Brian
Rayburn and Ward Weidert, health care professionals
and attorneys gave presentations on several interesting topics.
These topics included Frauds & Scams; Medications &
Interactions, Options in funeral planning and Living Wills/Power
of Attorney; Medicare Benefits and Talk with a Cop. The academy
was separated into three-week sessions with 40 - 50 seniors
in attendance. Another Senior Citizen Academy in Montgomery
will be held during 2002. For additional information on TRIAD,
