Safety Seat Identification Stickers (CHAD)
The
Police Department has Child Safety Seat Identification Stickers
for Village Residents to apply to their children's car seats.
This is very helpful when Officers are investigating accidents
where the parent or adult is unable to provide information on
the child in the car seat. This program began as a result of
a traffic crash involving a 13 - month baby boy named Chad.
The stickers contain medical information, relatives telephone
numbers, the child's name, date of birth, doctor's name, etc.
These stickers are free of charge and are STRONGLY recommended
for every car seat you own.
