[ARCHIVED] Accordion Music Entertainment September 12th


At 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 12th, local musician Virgil Ostreng will perform a free show featuring accordion music at the Montgomery Village Hall, 200 N. River Street.  Virgil has been playing the accordion since he was 10 years old, and has performed in polka and country music bands in Wisconsin and Illinois.  He will play songs from the 1930s to the 50s, some early rock and roll songs, and of course polkas and waltzes.  The event is free and open to all ages.

The monthly Senior Lunch and activity for 55 will begin at 11:00 a.m. after the entertainment.  There is a $4 cost for the lunch and pre-registration by September 5th is required.
