Some residents and Village staff received a robocall delaying their garbage in error yesterday. The Village of Montgomery and LRS Recycling apologize for the miscommunication. Due to Wednesday's winter storm, many local areas experienced garbage delays, which contributed to the confusion. Residents are to place cans out as soon as possible and not remove them until complete collection. LRS Recycling is working with drivers to come back to routes with households without cans out this morning.

Do not bring cans in until garbage is collected unless an LRS Recycling representative advises you otherwise. Even with schedule updates, it will take longer for trash removal in some areas due to the snow, which may or may not delay the pick-up schedule by one day. LRS Recycling plans to cycle through the Village and back today and tomorrow, eliminating the need for a Saturday collection.

For questions, please get in touch with LRS directly.

Thank you in advance to the entire community for their response and assistance regarding garbage collection updates.
